As we scale our product ecosystem and community, we’re looking for a capable and resourceful Tech & Web Associate to strengthen our internal technology and website infrastructure.
Role Overview
The Tech & Web Associate will serve as the go-to technical lead for all things web, platform, and digital tools across the Bankii ecosystem. This role requires a strong blend of technical problem-solving, SEO knowledge, and the ability to implement user-facing features like, landing pages,chatbots and performance optimizations. You will collaborate closely with the Operations, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure our digital infrastructure supports our brand, growth, and community goals.
Key Responsibilities
Web & Platform Maintenance
- Manage and maintain our website, including theme updates, plugin management, and backups.
- Troubleshoot and resolve both technical and non-technical issues that arise on the site.
- Ensure our hosting, domain, and site integrations (e.g. analytics, emails, etc.) are always functioning correctly.
SEO & Performance Optimization
- Conduct regular site audits to identify and fix technical SEO issues.
- Optimize website performance (site speed, mobile-friendliness, etc.) using best SEO practices.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Pod to implement metadata, schema, tracking pixels, and structured content strategies.
Feature Implementation
- Research and integrate new features such as chatbot tools, mailing list popups, announcement banners, and user feedback widgets.
- Assist with A/B testing and web experiments to improve UX and conversions.
Cross-Functional Support
- Provide ad-hoc tech support to other pods (e.g., integrations with marketing tools, Notion embeds, domain DNS edits, etc.).
- Serve as the liaison between Bankii and technical service provider
Must-Have Skills
- Proven experience managing WordPress websites (design, performance, security).
- Strong understanding of technical SEO (site structure, indexing, crawling, etc.).
- Comfortable working with tools like Google Search Console, etc.
- Familiarity with hosting platforms
- Ability to implement no-code and low-code tools (chatbots, automations, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving attitude; able to work independently and communicate clearly.
